My hiring boss has requested I get a certified copy of my degree. Does anyone know the process of sending it to the Consulate in Washington, D.C.? Can I just send the original to them and then they copy and certify it?

Or should I just send the degree to Korea? I'm leaving for a trip next Friday for a week and am afraid I may not get it back in time to send to Korea before I go off.

Thanks!

What you said is right. Send it to them, I think with a photocopy and a fee, and they will send it back to you. Call the Washington office for verification. When you receive it, scan it and keep it in a safe place so you can print it off anytime you need to. I wouldn't recommend sending it to someone here unless you want to risk having someone "misplace" it. Your choice though. Send it priority and I'm sure you'll get it back quicker.
