Hi,
I've been reading these posts trying to get informed about teaching abroad. But there's so much info Im feeling overloaded. I've got a couple of simple questions...
Which Hagwon do you recommend?(is naming the hagwon on the board prohibited?) I don't mind split shifts ( no more than 2 shifts per day though). One reason why I am interested in the Hagwons is because aparently these are where you will have a chance to work with mostly adults, true?
A few years ago, I worked for Berlitz but Ive noticed that most people are very critical. I really enjoyed working for them. One of the reasons is because with their method, there was very little out of class preparation needed. Can anyone tell me how this compares to other schools?
Thanks! |

There's no point in naming a specific good hagwon, because there's zillions of them. Not all, or evn most hagwons teach adults but there are chains that focus on adults. PAgoda, YBM and BCM are some of the more well known ones- that doesn't mean that they're good places to work.
Search this site for info on kids vs adults and judge for yourself. |

| Some hagwons focus on adults but the vast majority is with children, or at the very least a combination of both. Pagoda usually ask for experienced teachers I think. |

Zillions of good hogwans? You may be exaggerating by a few zillion. |
