Running interference for two newbies....
seeking info on OSS in new Jeju city near McDonalds/E-mart. So far...info is not good...but always two sides to every story of course!
Anyone have anything or contacts...
They have no FT it seems...past 2/3 were fired in the 10/11th months.....if you worked at OSS...let us know please....let's help each other from getting burnt!

There's some interesting stories about an OSS on Jeju in the Job Info journal........ at least there was. I don't know if it's the same place as the one you're talking about.

I worked for an OSS in the past........ not that one, but let me put it this way, although I always got paid and had no real issues regarding housing etc., I would never work for them again. The classes were too big, too long, no support for the teacher only constant criticism. I could write a book on all the things that were wrong with that place.

I suppose it depends on the local wonjong though. I've heard others who were quite happy at different branches, so that makes a big difference.

You will only know for sure if you talk to the current or past foreign teacher, and even then you have to be careful. If they are still working there, they may have to lie to you because the school still holds their severance and last month's wages.
