*I've done the search and checked the faq, but everthing there is quite old*
Hi folks, I'm looking around in the seoul area for a psychitrist. I wanted to see if anyone had any advice or recomendations. Please keep this a serious thread. |

Seoul National University hospital has one, trained in LA, nice guy. He's not a "come every week and chitchat for an hour" type, more like "how are your meds working, okay, see you next week."
Very open to prescribing whatever you think is best for you, in consultation with him.
Had a case of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder after dealing with a crime a few years back, and he very keen on helping me find the best solution for me....
I wouldn't recommend him if you need to have long drawn-out conversations about your mother, though. I wouldn't recommend coming to Korea in the first place if you already have issues to work out.
Good luck. |

Darn, how'd ya know to look here Dan...Here I am trying to get you commmited and you see it...damn
anyway, Simone. This seoul uni guy seems perfect. I was hoping for a med doc not a "and how to you feel about that" kinda guy. Do you by any chance remember his contwavt info, or perhaps his name? |

Digging through my head here, I think his name was Dr. In Kyun Ryu.
Usually when I google SNU Uni Hospital, the International Clinic Comes up, but it just doesnt' work today. You can call on the phone, just got he # from the KNTO - 2072 2890. The nurse's name used to be Kim Kyung Hee - Nice lady. Ask for her, and then explain why you need Dr. In.
If I have his name wrong, basically, he trained in America and is a nice guy. That should be enough of a description to get you through to him.
Good luck. |
