| This place is in the Sanbon area of Gunpo. I got a job there through a certain recruiter. I signed the contract back home and when I went to the school, the director changed the contract. It wasnt an actual salary, but pay by the class. There weren't enough classes to cover the full salary. I had a lot of other contract disputes with the director as well. After working there a month, the director fired me because I went home sick with the head teacher's permission. I got out of there with a cool 100,000 won because he deducted my airfare and visa run to Japan. However, I did get a letter of release. The students asked me how long I was going to stay, saying that foriegn teachers never stay there too long. Apparantly, the director goes through native teachers like a hooker through condoms. The director lies and always changes his story. If you want to save yourself a headache, stay far away from this place. |

Funny how these America-hating countries use so many U.S. concepts to make money.
"New York Language Institute" -- run by New Yorkers I presume...
Most of the America-hating Chileans in EFL work at the Chilean-North American Cultural Institute
And Santiago also boasts "the Wall Street Institute" at various locations.
I hate the U.S.! Unless it's helping me market my business... |

It always amazes me that these hagwons even stay in business for as long as they do.
I wouldn't send my child to a place where staff turnover is so high. Too much chaos. |

He claims to have lived in New York for a number of years and teaches English at a university. However, I can barely comprehend a sentence he utters. Could be that New York accent, hahaha. |
