I don't have a link to the story (couldn't find it on either of the English newspaper websites) but I saw a story on MBC about a man pushing a blindman off a subway platform. They had the video surveilance from the cameras in the subway.

This guy is a real smuck.

I saw the video. He stumbled, he wasn't pushed as far as I could tell. It was crowded, and he was walking along closer, closer, closer to the edge. And then BLOOP! -- Now you see him, now you don't. Who's the shmuck? The guy walking next to him? He was over and down before anyone knew it.

These new subway protection walls they're testing in Seoul should help with that type of accident.

I saw everyone just looking, no action..
There aren't too many hero's in Korea, you can be sure that in the west someone would risk their life to save his.

Last year actually I remember seeing on the news with my wife how in Tokyo a Japanese guy fell in and a young Korean guy jumped in and saved him but died himself. He was regarded as a hero and it was big news there and here.

A blind man falls off the platform.

Today around 4 PM, at the #4 line's Sadang station platform, Mr Kim of age 67 who has visual dissability fell off on the rails.

Fortunatly he was recued right away by several passengers and public service agents nearby. Mr Kim was reported to only suffering from a dislocated shoulder.

Sorry, but I am sick and tired of some incomplete information and false impressions thrown thoughout this board.

Please learn some Korean. Read and look for some real news people! Stop making yourself sound stupid.

Wow there are some bittchy people here, SO what I dont know Korean, the footage I saw which obviously was not the full footage showed curious onlookers looking over the edge and NOT doing anything.

Maybe you should not jump down peoples throats for not learning Korean, and maybe corrected me by saying that someone did save him, I would've said thanks for correcting me.

A$$hole

There is only one of those around here pal, and that's you. You leapt to your automatic assumption about Korean people, based on your own bitter prejudice without checking the facts. Go the f home, you spanner.
