Dammit you beat me to posting that by seconds!!
Heres the latest:

Incidents Reported Near Tube Stations
There have been unconfirmed reports of an apparently minor explosion on the London Underground. There are no reports of casualties.A series of incidents have been reported near Warren Street, Oval and Shepherd's Bush stations on the London Underground.

The stations have been evacuated.

Train passenger Ivan McCracken told Sky News he spoke to an Italian man who witnessed an explosion.

"He told me he had seen a man carrying a rucksack which suddenly exploded. It was a minor explosion but enough to blow open his rucksack. Everyone rushed from the carriage. People evacuated very quickly. There was no panic.

"I didn't see anyone injured but there was shock and fright.

"There was a smell of smoke."

"The man who was holding the rucksack looked extremely dismayed.

Police have cordoned off the streets around Warren Street station. They said a suspect package had been reported on a Victoria Line train.

Sky reporter Mark White said authorities are "pushing everybody as far back from the station as they can".

It is two weeks to the day since bombers attacked three Tube trains and a bus in central London.

Another eyewitness, Sosiane Mohellavi, said "Everyone panicked and people were screaming.

"We had to pull the alarm. I am still shaking."

They've tagged it as "dummy explosions" I wonder what the hell that means. But another 3 subway explosions and a bus again.

CNBC says, "Detonators" have gone off, but not bombs.

Sounds to me like someone either built bombs that didn't work, or is trying to make some kind of sick point.

One guy who was seen with a backpack smoking was freaking out... would sure be funny if the bombs were duds, and they were all caught.

Now BBC's reporting that Westminster subway is closed down. A 4th station.

Reports of mail bombings and gun shots.

This is getting nutty.

Now armed police have entered a London hospital.

Chasing a bomber who was injured when his bomb didn't work?

""He said that a man was carrying a rucksack and the rucksack suddenly exploded. It was a minor explosion but enough to blow open the rucksack," McCracken said. "The man then made an exclamation as if something had gone wrong. At that point everyone rushed from the carriage.""

1431 Sir Ian Blair, Metropolitan Police commissioner, says there are four scenes of explosions, or attempts at explosions. He says "casualty numbers are very low"
The Cobra committee is about to meet.

1351 It is now being reported that there was an attempted suicide bombing at Warren Street, but the bomb didn't go off properly. Some windows were blown out of the number 26 bus at Hackney

Ha... sounds like i guess right...

1440 It is now becoming clear that there were three attempted bombings today - at Oval station, at Warren Street station, and on a 26 bus in Hackney. Speculation suggests the detonators on these devices went off, but the bombs themselves did not. Should this be the case, there are clearly going to be huge risks in disarming the devices - but the potential for clues as to who, exactly, is behind this..

Shocking stuff indeed, but it seems they screwed up. These people are in serious trouble now, it seems that the explosions were pretty small.

Hopefully after proper interrogation these people will be able to point the finger in the right direction. Pakistani and Egyptian authorities already have people in custody for the previous acts.

Villainous scum. They'll get theirs alright. Radio 5 are on it and are covering the story well.

Guardian news blog is always worth a look too.

1445 PA reports: "The whole of Shepherd's Bush Green is cornered off between Holland Park and the Shepherd's Bush Station". There are suggestions there is a suspect package there.

Al Qaida has to reach lower down to find terrorists.

They it seems they just don't have plenty of skilled terrorsts to use as they like.

Nowadays they just can afford to send project manager terrorists and let amatuers carry it out.

I hope that all the semi skilled ones have blown themselves up by now. The more ineffective bombs they set off the better. I'd much rather these scum live a life of great pain, disability and permanent life sentences in horrid conditions than actually completely blow themselves up and hurt and kill others.

Yeah, maybe these are some remaining cells of Al Queda in London trying to do something before they get caught?
