I never pay the full fare when riding the bus. If challenged (which has only happened once or twice) I pretend I don't understand any Korean. Surprised

Confess something. Let us absolve you!

I always thought Corporal was petty! Surprised

Oh,... you mean about my own discretions!

I have urinated in a staircase while in a soju stupor and unwilling to wet my pants (the wiser course of action I thought much later).

Gross.

Hey, I'm Dutch. 300 won a day is big savings in my mind.

I couldn't figure out the recycling rules of my officetel, so i just started throwing everything in one bag and taking it to the dumpster area late at night when nobody was working there!

Same here. I can't be bothered to separate anything, and don't they charge you every month for the sticker to put on the food waste basket?

On the bus I get excited and talk loud on my cell and sometimes get mad when the bus drivers or others tell for me to shutup.

I live on the 10th floor of my apartment building...some days it's just a long elevator ride up there and I don't want to bother sharing an elevator and make stupid small talk with ajeoshis, so I hit the close button right away when I see ajeoshis running up to the elevator. Then I laugh because I have the elevator to myself ......hee,hee,hee Twisted Evil

Also, I usually don't like talking to taxi drivers when I'm in a taxi alone. In order to avoid conversation, I have a fake conversation on my cell phone to my husband (so the taxi driver doesn't get any ideas) the whole way to my destination.

These "evil doings" of mine are really just a defense tactic I use to avoid conversation/interaction with stranger-ajeoshis.

Oh, and I frequently say "yongo mal moteyo." ( I don't speak English) to the random Koreans on the street who want me to edit something of theirs.

When I worked at Halla Heavy Industries (Pre IMF '97) I slept with several wimmenz in my office on the 17th floor...including a fellow teacher. I was single though, at least I wasn't cheating on anyone.

me: dunno
him: Why are you living in Korea?
me: mmmm english teacher
him: But don't you think Canada is more beautiful than Korea?
me: yup
him: hahahhahahahahah!
me: mmmfff
him: Don't you miss Canada? Don't you want to go back?
