i've done a search but came up with nothing addressing f4 visa holders getting out of contracts.

how do we get out of our contracts? i'll spare you the details but i'm getting screwed at work. i don't want to do a runner because i'm not dependent upon employment to stay in the country and i want to stay in korea and look for work. do i have to give a months notice and get screwed out of money? is walking out an option, or can i be sued? does anyone have any experience with this? or can direct me to a place i can research?

thanks in advance!

Not an f-4 holder myself, here on the lesser f-2, but you should basically be able to walk. F-4 is the kyopo visa, right? You pretty much have all the rights of a citizen, and you are your own sponser. No runner is needed. Square things up with your work as best you can. Then leave. Should be someone else on the board who can give you advice based on firsthand experience.

How, in your case, are you being screwed? The Devil is in the details.
