Actually, Sheikh Omar Bakri is one of the more honest muslim leaders out there. He supports Bin Laden, armed Jihad, the destruction of Israel and the imposition of Shariah Law in Western countries. At least he doesn't trot out the tired 'religion of peace' matras that so-called moderates do, while excusing the Islamist agenda whenever given the chance.
The problem that mainstream moderate leaders have is that, it is actually quite difficult to argue, on a theological basis that men like Omar Bakri are wrong, since they can point to numerous hadiths and surahs to support Jihad against the infidel. Bakri is honest, whereas the 'moderates' attempt to hide the true nature of their religion, relying on the stupidity, ignorance and cowardice of Westerners. |
