Does anyone know if I can get satellite service that would allow me to watch Canadian/US channels? specifically I want to catch the hockey games from Ontario (Toronto Maple Leafs). Does anyone how I can do this.
Any other suggestions? |

I'm very intrigued by that site, but registrations have been disabled so I can't find out too much information about it other than reading the FAQs.
Are you a paying subscriber? What's the quality like? Is it showing lots of games (nhl or nfl)?
Thanks in advance... |

It's going to be a bit rough watching hokey. The quality is impressive for what they are doing, but it is going to be hard to see the puck. But, it is 100% worth it.
Right now they are charging $3 a month for a general subscription. They vote on what NFL games will be shown, but for the past two Sunday's they have shown 90% of the games.
They are considering doing an add on subscription of anywhere between 30- 60 bucks for the entire NFL and NHL season. You will also have a garantee of seeing your team's games. This is still in the works.
If anyone wants to have a tour of it, just stop by and I will throw it on. I want to see these guys get huge and make loads of cash.
Still waking up so this may not have come out well. |

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it's good enough for me to spend my hard-earned 3 bucks on . If they would only open up the registrations again...Do you happen to know when they might? |

Thank you for you prompt response. However, I knew about that site but it has not been open to new subscribers for a long time. Is there anything else? |

Yeh so... does that site include NBA games?
Can't imagine a year without being able to watch my Redwings completely dominate the silly Canadians... sorry lol, couldn't resist with Hasek playing for you boys and all.
Oh, and then we have the Pistons too... Can't imagine a year without watching them completely dominate that sport either...
PS., No posts regarding either a.) the dark days of either franchise, b.) the lions, c.) the tigers... ahh the joys of being a Detroiter! |

I was wondering if you could "theoretically" get Bellvu Express (or Direct TV for that matter) and "quietly" have it shipped over here. Obviously you'd need some know how on how to install it etc. but I wonder if you could do it by yourself would you be able to receive the signal and watch the games? I would happily shell out a few hundred bucks if I knew it would definitely work. I really miss NHL games! |
