I was getting attacked thousands of times daily by programs that were causing my computer to run the hard-drive at super high speed. The fan would be really loud and the computer would get really really hot. The homepage would be changed every time I logged on, and it eventually wouldn't boot up at all.
I replaced the hard drive for W120,000 and came home, same problem. Avast and Zone Alarm seem to have cleared up all my problems and I am now cruising in style!
Anyone else have similar stories? |

AVG from Grisoft and CCleaner, combined with Microsoft anti-spyware keeps my comp clean as a whistle. Never a problem. *touches wood*. |

I use Sygate personal firewall (with another backup firewall program that hasn't caught anything that's sneaked through Sygate yet), with AVG antivirus sitting behind it. |
