"Progressive groups such as The Korea Greens are always going to be fighting an uphill battle in Korean society, especially since big business and conservative forces use the commercial media to depict such organizations as being the bringers of cultural destruction and the Confucianism base upon which it rests. ��They say we are challenging elders and being disrespectful of our culture�� says Mr. Seo, ��but Confucianism is only a small part of Korean life.
