A friend of mine (not a member here) has asked me to post to see if anyone has any info. on Kids Future School in Andong. Any info., good or bad would be much appreciated.

Don't know anything about the school...only know that Andong is one of the hottest places to live in the summer!! Pretty cool CULTURALLY, though!

I met the supervisor/head teacher (not owner) of Kids' Future about 2 years back. Very nice, very friendly and open, but seemed a little clueless about hiring a foreigner. They've had two foreign teachers since then though so they should be broken in by now. When the place first opened, the accomodation was with the director, but I'm pretty certain that has changed. I would verify though. The school has cameras in the classroom which I didn't like, but I've never heard any stories of late or non-payment.

Andong is a fabulous city and I would definitely recommend it though. I don't think it's hotter than anywhere else in Korea. Daegu is always worse.

I met one of the guys who's the husband of the wife who works there (complicated right?) and he's an alright guy. I think that I would trust that you wouldn't get screwed working there. He sent me an e-mail about it a while ago and I thought about it - I'm just not really interested in being Dong sheemed by little Korean monsters
