So I have no A/C, can't sleep, my ipod erased itself, have a terrible schedule with terrible students, I'm supposed to go in to help the school to move tomorrow (I conceded I would help for 2 hours) on my vacation which is from Wednesday to Tuesday, no longer know what my name is (since the school changed it), had 2 students get in a fight yesterday the father of one was at the school today, got calls at 5 and 6 this morning with 10+ rings both times. I bought a bike last Thursday and it made me feel so much better and today that's fucking been stolen. Who steals a bike that's worth 80,000 won? It was such a piece of shit but I loved it. My only illusion of freedom.

I'm not usually an angry person. What music should I pirate? Oops, download legally.

Almost anything by Emenem. If you really want to go "angry," why not look for some pro-Hitler skinhead stuff?

How about "Slap My Bitch Up" while your at it?

And don't forget to put on your "angry eyes," too, Mr. Potato Head.

I was hoping for music that wasn't directed at any particular person or group.
I really hope that Mr. Potato Head comment was directed at my avatar. My judgement skills aren't at their best.

Sorry, didn't realize it was that bad.

Rather than look for angry music, why not just have a beer or two? Keep it together, go to sleep, tomorrow is another day.

("Potato Head" was just a free association with Toy Story, no real relation to you, dude.)

Atari Teenage Riot, and it's leader, Alec Empire...

was listening to Alec Empire's "Intelligence and Sacrifice" while running the treadmill today, and boy oh boy, does that stuff help burn off the calories!!!

Try Twista. He's not really angry, but he'll make you feel like a badass while you lament about your situation.

By the way, my iPod's hard drive crashed after only two months of usage. I was so upset for days in a row. Several times, I nearly cried except I don't have tear ducts. Had to ship it back to the US. Still waiting. I hate Apple.

How about some Waters-era Floyd? As a music-store clerk once told me, The Final Cut is exactly what you want to do after listening to it.

Or why not just go to the good ol' fashioned kind of angry and pop in some Sex Pistols.

damn... i was hoping it was girl trouble. i'd have recommended elvis costello's 'lipstick vogue'. it's my favorite angry-about-a-girl song.

System of a Down - Especially "Soil", "War", "Chop Suey"
Korn - Any
Kyuss - "Blues for the Red Sun", "Welcome to Sky Valley" (albums)
Faith No More - "King For a Day" (album)

These are pretty angry and really get the blood pumping. Works for me...

I could add a little angry about a girl in there. We live on seperate continents and she has a boyfriend named Tom. Tom is adopted by the way. That's the only thing I know about him that is remotely negative.

You're not very good at this anger thing, are you?

Let me give you a hand.
You should know that Tom is a stupid name- in fact one of the all-time stupidest names ever.
People named Tom don't deserve girlfriends, and they certainly don't deserve YOUR girlfriend!!!
And he's adopted?
Well, there must something wrong with him for his real parents not to love him enough to keep him.
It's sad, but it's the truth.
So WTF does this, this, ADOPTED Tom have that you don't have?!?!?
Proximity?
Your girl ditched you for PROXIMITY!?!
Ooooh, I bet you're mad now, eh?
Steamed!
Absolutely cheesed right off!
I would be!
Just in a murderous blind rage!

Well, maybe not.
I think you're right.
He's probably ok.

But if somebody suggested listening to Slayer I'd have to kill them.

I just would.

Try the Mountain Goats. John Darnielle is, essentially, an angry man armed only with his (piercing nasal) voice and an acoustic guitar. I love the guy.

Leonard Cohen, while I wouldn't normally describe him as "angry," is a volcano of pent-up rage and bile on Songs of Love and Hate.
