Posting for friend.

My friend is replacing a teacher at a university, and must suddenly interview prospective students and grade them on entrance. Entrance to the university is based mostly on TOEIC scores, but also a percentage on an interview with a native speaker (my friend). My friend hasn't recieved much feedback from the school yet, and is curious how other teachers handle this situation at their university.

To teachers who do this for their university, if there are any on here. What are normal questions to ask? How long do you interview each student? Ideas please. Thank you for helping.
