I am off to Jeju in September with the gf. I want a nice place to stay but I don't want to break the bank either. Up to about 90,000W per night would be ok.

Most of the luxury love motels in the other thread are in Seoul. If anyone knows of a place with the big tubs and the other interesting stuff in Jeju please let me know.

I can offer you a bit of advice... Haven't stayed at too many places, but was very satisfied with the places I did stay at... Also, I can't list the names of practically any places, but I've got a few ideas...

First of all, as you can imagine, "min baks", "yeo gwans", and hotels of all sorts are all over the island... Finding one to suit your needs shouldn't be much of a problem... An internet search on a Korean search engine will provide you with a good list (with prices, pictures, etc. etc.)... Might wanna check it out that way...

I've stayed at a kick-ass love motel in Busan that was amazing and very cheap for what we got - but, haven't seen or heard of any places like that in Jeju...

There is a place called "Full House" along the west coast coastal road... I had stayed there in the off- season for 90,000 won flat... There were more luxurious rooms, but this was all we could afford... Yet, it was very nice - hardwood floors, pine panelling on the walls, a nice big bed, and a huge bathroom with a large jacuzzi bath tub... Nice views, a very peaceful area, a 5 minute walk or less to the water...

In September, a min bak on Udo island off the east coast of Jeju is nice... I've stayed there at a place (don't remember the name), but it was fine... Nothing spectacular offered there as far as rooms go, but 60 or 70,000 won will get you a decent room on a very peaceful island, practically right on the beach - romantic...

All along the coast, all around the entire island, you can find places like this... Anything not in the city is generally quite decent...

Advice you already know - bargain... As the tourists wind down in Septemeber, pretty much all places will lower their prices...

Have a good trip!
