I just received a job offer from a University in Korea. I have taught Physics and Engineering while in school, but have never taught English. What is the best was to learn what is necessary from the TESL course, without actually taking the course. I want to know the material, so that I can do a good job teaching. But I start work in 4 weeks and there is no time to take the course. The University actually wants me to get TESL certified next Winter. I went to my local University bookstore, and found some nice books on teaching English. But I never found the 'course book' used by a TESL course. Any way get a hold of that material without taking the class.

Thanks,
Drew

Every course is different.

There's no specific how-to manual.
