So, this is a bit strange, but I'm desperate. Two weeks ago I met a girl in Itaewon at Geckos. She was Pakistani American I think she said. Anyhow, I felt like we really hit it off, I haven't felt a spark like this in a long time. I got her number. The next morning I went to call only to find I had lost her digits. I've been sorta looking for her since. Scanning crowds in Itaewon and Hongdae as well. The weird thing is I know tons of people who have met her. She is very smart, funny, and is often chatting with people, but no one has any contact information for her. My friend suggested I post here, b/c someone is bound to know her. She is pale, has brown eyes, long wavy hair, not that tall, maybe 5'3, exotic looking. I know this is crazy, but what the hell, I'm done with Korean gals that can't have entire conversations with me. So, if anyone on this board knows her could you please have her PM me, or could you PM with her number? Thanks in advance for helping my love life.

Sunboy, I feel for you. I really do. But you lost the girl's damn number! Reading your post, it seems you didn't have the foresight to give her yours!

This is really really sad.

I suppose the only thing you can hope for is that you run into her randomly and that if you do she believes you when you tell her "I'm sorry, but I lost your number."

Good luck, man. I may not sound it from this post, but I really am a big fan of the happy ending.

Okay, so it doesn't matter now that all the negative stuff was taken off. Someone, well several people, PMed me about her. One person even gave me her blog address. Turns out she's not on the market. I e-mailed her, and get this, she wrote we should "be friends." Not that line. After all this searching not the dreaded word friend. So, should I be friends with her, hoping to launch a sneak attack? Should be friends with her, and actually, be friends. Or, should I return to the Korean gals, and curse my own bad luck. I think happy endings only happen in movies.

Well, you shouldn't be friends with anyone you want more with. It just causes a lot of pain in the end. I mean think about it...you want her and she is talking about all the boys that want her or all the sex she is having. I know I couldn't handle that.

But if you want to really only be friends with her then do it. If she really is that cool a person and you can handle it, then why not? Hell, she may even have a cool single friend she'll want you to meet. But no sneak attacks. You'll only wind up dropping the grenade on your own foot.

And you'll find out through that, if you decide to be friends, whether she'll put her money where her mouth is...as in, is she just feeding you a line (cause friends should hang out together now and again at least) or was she really being sincere?

Ah well, at least you now know. Don't limit yourself to K-girls though...

Well, okay this is awkward, but "Chronic Pride" is right. Of course now that I know about this I'm going to get on Dave's and, um , you know, read it. So, I was being sincere about us being friends, but what is all this "sneak attack" business about. Also, it was nice to find out that I was "the girlfriend," "wife" of or just being banged by so many random people on this board. Also, TigerBeer, if I had to pick who I looked like out of the pictures, I'd say def. not one or four. Okay, well mystery solved, I'm the Paki-American, let's put this topic to bed.
