I seriously doubt it will make it here, although the SC series ws quite popular. I have ordered it from Canada.
I doubt many here will use the copy on the network, as "cracking" this game and the Starforce protection is actually quite involved. |

Yeah, the newer games on DVD have got some pretty heavy anti-piracy protection. I was told by the guy at EB that it would scan my system and wouldn't work if it found that I had a DVD burner and certain DVD copying software that it didn't approve of. Well, it works so I can't say whether I was told a load of BS or not... there are warnings all over it indicating that the copy protection will leave it incompatible with some systems. Of course there is a no return policy on opened s/w just about everywhere, so if it doesn't work with your system you are screwed. I had the salemsman hand write and sign on the bill that I could return for an exchange/credit if I found the copy protection s/w was giving me problems.
If it doesn't make it to Korea it's a real shame because the people who can really appreciate the detail, the realism, voice acting etc. the most are in-
Korea. |

You're up early, friend!
Yes....I can't wait for my copy.
I tried the one on the network, just to beat it, and it can bedone....it was working well. However, the lengths I had to go to didn't sit well and I just want to go legit. A great game, so cough it up. |

I think I posted that around 3 PM EST. It's been a slow summer at work- everyone's on vacation, nothing gets done- I could probably not show up for work and nobody would notice... |

Well, in that case I can't recommend this game strongly enough- it is a must have.
Make sure you select 'native languages' in the audio selection and thrill to the sound of Korean guards with genuine NK accents... the spanish is also accurate and I imagine the Japanese is too... as good as the audio is, the visuals are equally good.
I haven't tried multi-player yet but the solo campaign is keeping me pretty busy. |

I have no doubt that the game is in Korean. I bought the original splinter cell here, and it was in Korean. Luckily, the third patch was able to overwrite the language files....perhaps they were already there...maybe too, this time will offer a choice. |

I didn't this was a problem (but of course I haven't bought Korean s/w in some time) but the North American version offers you the choice of have all in-game audio in English or in 'native' language (Spanish/Korean/Japanese/English depending on the mission). Cut scenes and pre-mission briefing screens are not affected (i.e. all in English). |
