Well, I'm in Ansan, about 40 minutes away from Seoul. So far it looks like I might be the only foreigner here! I'll have to explore further. So does anyone know how to meet new people who like to have a good time?

I lived around Ansan for about 2 years. Go to the WA Bar across the street from Jungang Station, line 4.

I've lived in Ansan for the past year, and thankfully I will be leaving here on August 20th. I have run into every age of foreigner, and have found 99.9 percent of them to be unfriendly. I have had them walk up beside and just as I am going to say hello they have turned their head. It's been a very unfriendly place in my experience.

Maybe if you are in the 20-30 age bracket and like the bars it is different. For me, I made my friends elsewhere this past year.

Good luck here!

I live in Ansan, kinda near Handeap station. I don't frequent bars much anymore, but if you're interested in meeting someone for a beer somewhere, I could very well be your man! PM me if your interested...

Canuckteacher - whereabouts in Ansan do you live? I almost never see any foreigners...
