Yup, that's right. On this day, two years ago, I stepped off a Korean Airlines 777 and onto Korean soil for the first time.
Gee... and I never thought I'd even last a year!!

Congratulations!
I just passed my 5-year anniversary 2 weeks ago. My early feeling was similar to yours. I couldn't see myself making a year. There were bets on who was going to last longer - my co-worker or I. There was no question both of us were heading home early. In many ways she was fitting in better than I was. She made it to around the 8-month mark. I'm not sure what I won. 4 more years I guess.
So, if you're a newbie out there thinking, "I'm not going to make it." There's hope for even you. |
