got a SAMSUNG 'anycam' model MPC-M30 a while back.............
works fine on my room-mates Korean XP (not sp1/2, and USB 1) PC
but NOT on my English XP(sp2, USB 2)
any suggestions (besides changing my PC to Korean XP!)?
seems Samsung is NOT supporting 'anycam' .... the website is dead
[pretty lousy move, Samsung........................]
even the supposed XP drivers are for Windows 2000 |

that's a very old cam. I bought a m20 about 4 years ago and when I switched to xp only got it to work once. I would recommend bying a new cam. I bought one at Yongsan around Christmas for only 35,000 and it works great. |

If you can't dig up a driver somewhere else online, I'd just go buy a new one.
Kenin, I can vouch for the Lebeca cameras... AWESOME image! |

Hmm.. really? Maybe you got a bad one. Or your motherboard might not have the right boost. I've had conflicts between mics and boards before. But likely it's a bad cam. |

no real need to buy ANOTHER! since I can use my room-mates.....
seems there is no such thing as a generic driver - tried several with no luck
too bad Samsung dropped the ball -- you just gotta check that the same model is supported in the USA to give a longer life
I disagree that its "really old" - it does CLAIM to support XP; bought it 2 yrs ago! |

I did a little googling for you and I think the following page will have the drivers you are looking for.
here
And any hardware that has been around since 2001 is quite old |
