I've pretty much given up on it...but I had a package sent to Korea in early April and have never received it. I figure it got ripped either here or back home, is lost in some post office somewhere, or is at the bottom of the Pacific. I've tried contacting the postal service back home...unresponsive. Same with the company that sent the package. I should have had it sent express or global...tracked...lesson learned. I've just always received my packages and this is the first time in which one has failed. The contents were not valuable at all and it is hobby related and I doubt many people would know what to do with it. Well, c'est la vie. Anyone ever got a package after such a long time? |

Found out in January that one of my uncles had mailed me a somewhat expensive Christmas present in late November. To date, it still hasn't arrived. |

Guess I'm lucky - my mom's Christmas package only took three months. |

Once, back when I was a little kid growning up in Africa, my grandmother sent me and my bother and sisters some clothes as Christmas presents and the package arrived ... 4 and half years later. By then the clothes were several sizes too small. I've always wondered where the package disappeared to for all those years. |

Longest? One year my xmas package took 5 months to get here. For some reason it was re routed to Swan City Washington.
It was clearly labelled Suwon city South Korea but for some reason Canada post decided to send it South to the states Luckily the postal service in the states got it back on track.
Route? Edmonton-Swan city-Seattle-San Fran-Incheon-Suwon
Strange but true |

Surprisingly I have received all of my packages within 8 days from NZ and 14 days from the US. But I returned some online purchases about 6 weeks ago and am still waiting for them to arrive so I can be refunded.... Somehow I have a bad feeling about this one.... perhaps they are "lost in the mail" (cough cough). |

When my parents sent me my diploma last year when I was changing jobs it took several months (I ended up ordering a new one from my uni). Turns out it had been "misshiped to the Phillipines." Not sure how the USPS figured that.
That's not the longest though... I still haven't recieved my sister's wedding announcement. She got married at Christmas.
Those were letters though. I've never had a problem with a package. |
