Just when you thought that Lee Hyori had pushed things as far as they could go when she became an S&M dominatrix ...
A while ago, struggling solo singer Seo In-yeong began dancing around a pole -you know, the way strippers back home do. Now another singer, Ivy, is is doing the same thing. At what point should one drop all pretenses of being a singer, and just open up a pay-to-see-me-strip website?
P.S. Links are not work safe! |

Great pics TB.....
Remember though.......it's just seksi! Not trampy. Not until they turn 30 years old that is. Then it's just out of order! |

You realize this would put about 97% of K-pop singers out of work, and then probably out of work again? Oh wait, that's a good thing! |

Is that Ivy for real? As far as I know, she's not the one who would do such moves... The place in the picture doesn't even look like a legit stage. Weird. |

I guess I've become jaded, but with pornography pouring out of the internet like a broken spigot and my occasional capicity to have sex with a real live woman (gasp!), I've come to find the rote, aerobic gyrations of Korean female popstars to be a bit boring.
For me, 'racy' Korean videos are all sex but no joy. Sexuality without sensuality. Just coolly calculated and mechanically performed career moves. People like Tina Turner and James Brown exuded sexuality, but they also intimated the wonder and freedom that comes with unshackled sexuality. Korean music videos, quite naturally, having nothing to do with the American sexual revolution, and everything to do with the Korean sexual commercialism that takes place in thousands of darkened hotel rooms and massage parlours across the country every night.
... or maybe i should just shut up and say "hooray for boobies!" |

BaBing!
Rosie from the Jetsons exudes about as much sensuality.

that also reminds me of those girls that 'dance' outside of new businesses. Shouldn't dancing scantily-clad women make someone more happy? It actually depresses me. I have to remember times when I saw sexy women dancing who were actually having fun to not be disappointed in the world. |

Whoever expects something more than shallow thrills from a pop star should have some sense slapped into them. |

Mmm, there's more to it than that. The OP is on to more than he knows. Remember that story from a year or so back about the "list" that was going around with K-stars names on it and how much it'd run ya for a night with them?
Heh, maybe the videos are hidden advertisements. Booyah. |

Oh my god, them, and the girls who stand in the middle of the Emart aisles, selling me bulgogi in knee-highs make me sad too. |

I'm really glad someone brought this up !
I lived in Korea from 2002-2003 and this kind of S and M, prostitution dance style wasn't really around on t.v.
Young female singers were alluring and sexy, but not Britney Spears trashy.
I want to state that I am far from a prude, but I really am getting sick of how "over sexed" everything has become.
Especially on tv when you see four/five year old Korean girls dressed up like little Lee Hyoris ( a singer I do like in many respects) and acting like
adult stage preformers is disgusting. The Koreans in the audience seem to lap it up as well.
In summary, I think sexy got mixed up with trashy somehow and now its just out of control. |

Yes, it's really Ivy. Apparently, the pictures were taken during a charity concert. For more details, you can look here. |

Believe it brother, it's her. She is going back to her sexy image like her first album it seems. |
