Doing a movie English class in the Fall Semester at the uni I teach at. Will be going over the movie script looking at idioms, etc. Wondering if people would suggest movies that they think would be interesting to go over. Ideally, it would be good to do movies that they might not have gone over in the past. I'm assuming that some of the popular ones like "Shrek" and other commercial releases have probably have been covered in many of the hagwons.)

I'm thinking about possibly using "Groundhog Day" (a great comedy, very repetative~ good to get them to focus). Which ones would you recommend? In addition, where can one purchase the scripts?

Thanks in advance for all of the helpful suggestions.

You can go to Kyobo, YoonPyoung or any large bookstore and by actual copies of movie scripts in book form that teach the vocabulary with Korean translation, while listening to a cassette. Select the title you wish and accompany it with the video. Hopefully your technical enough to download.

Well I made my students (middle school boys) study it during their summer camp and the loved it! Basically lots of talking about death and killing people, also lots of fighting and dieing. Right up their alley.
