I'd say they grow up tougher cos they get teased or sidelined a bit more than others.
nobody wanted ginger on their footy team in the playground. |

Are you saying getting teased 'produces a morphine-type substance that acts like an anaesthetic and reduces pain'? Would this not be an independent factor, separate from having red hair? |
