Forgot to add this to my previous post - but if anyone knows of fun things...or any things to do in Gumi, please drop me a line! There aren't any other foreign teachers at my school and I'm not up for random wandering yet so I'm at a loss for things to do!

Gumo Mountain is a nice place to spend the afternoon. You can hike up the mountain or take a cable car up. Also, at the base of the mountain there's a small amusement park and a lake with paddle boats. It's also a nice place just to strole around, get some fresh air, and relax.

Downtown has lots to do. You can do some shopping, have some Pizza Hut or KFC, see a movie at a DVD Room or one of the cinemas.

At night you could check out Psycho, the foreigners bar. Have a beer and a game of pool, you'll probably make some friends there.

My favorite thing to do was to just cruise around the city on a scooter, exploring, taking pictures. But if you're new here you might not be comfortable enough to do that.
