Certainly if you went to one of the big box outlets, Carrefour, E-mart, etc.. they would have what you're looking for. |

Whats so embarrassing about your question? the fact you have a blocked loo or is it what you were trying to flush? Don't worry.... kimchi has that effect on us all......... Gives us fellas a new appreciation for what women go through during child birth.... |

hahaha. kimchi tends to have the opposite effect on me, but this statement is basically true. the korean diet can wreak havoc on your insides. the first 2 months i was here i was going two or three times a day. I think my stomach was confused by the presence of vegetables, something that didn't really show up very often in my american diet.
anyways, like the other guy said, a corner hardware store should have a plunger. just walk down the street and look for a place that is packed to the ceiling with tons of random rusty crap, and that should be it. i'll leave whatever hand signals and body language you want to use to explain your predicament up to you. |

Believe it or not, one of my few Korean words is: "Go-moo-pumpuh"!!
(Toilet plunger). Doesn't come up in conversation very often, but ya never know when you might need it...like now!!! |

Your local corner shop will sell it. No need to go far. |
