Does anyone know if you can do a visa run on Saturdays??
I'm new at the visa run thing, so I'll just spill what I've heard through the rumour mill.
I've heard that Japan visa runs can only occur during the weekdays. Also, I've heard that it may be possible to do a visa run in another country like China or Taiwan, and those places may be open on Saturday. Again, I do not know if all the info above is correct, but I'm looking for some guidance. Any help is appreciated. |

First off, you can't do a Visa run to Taiwan. Korea does not have a consulate there (most countries don't).
As far as Visa runs go on a Saturday, I think you would have to look at the Korean consulate's web page in each country to determine this. However, I am doubtful. I have done visa runs to Canada, Japan, Thailand, and (next week) Hong Kong. None of them are open on Sat. and all have very specific hours for issuing Visa's. A google search will help you find the web pages for the Korean consulate in each country. Each one will post hours, price of Visa, etc.
Good luck.
