No.
When I asked about getting my pension refund I was told it had to wait till AFTER the last payday. It takes a few weeks after you actually leave the country. |

Sorry, I should have been more specific, even though it might warrant the same response... so, if you put proper notice in, and have a ticket home, no refund on the pension, you simply forfeit all those deductions? |

Ya-ta Boy is right, it takes a few weeks to process. You don't get your refund immediately. Before you leave Korea go to the pension office with your tickets home and fill out the pension refund form. You can get them to send you a check to an address in your home country or do a wire transfer.
I don't know about leaving mid-contract, you may have to show them a letter of release or some other documents. |

So can I go to the pension office with my ticket a couple of days before my contract ends and do all the paperwork or must I wait until my contract is finished? |
