You need an 'other' and a 'none' option for the poll.
Yogurt & banana, plus loads of vitamins and loads of coffee.

Yeah I agree, you needed a non section. I typically have 3 coffees along with a side of 3 ciggies. yay for unhealthy me!

Btw when i do have it, its typically an "american" breakfast as you say. eggs, bacon, toast, baked beans, fried tomatos, mushrooms etc, making it an "english" breakfast i guess.

Coffee and cereal

I can't choose the cereal option because you claim it is Australian. Sorry to say this but I am canadian and that is exactly what I had for breakfast my entire life.

My breakfast is usually brown rice cooked with mixed grains, garlic and ginger, with things added like spinach, quail eggs, doenjang (always) sesame oil and soya suace. This seems to be the only thing that keeps me going until the next meal. And it is really yummy.

Two pieces of toast, two eggs, a bowl of cereal, and an apple. Been doing it for about 4 months everyday. I never used to eat breakfast and I could go until 6:00 pm without eating. Now that I get up and eat breakfast I am hungry all day and eat more. Weird.

No not weird, when you eat breakfast it kicks start you metabolism for the day and you body craves more food to burn rather than taking energy from your body, before when you werent eating breakfast and able to keep going until 6.00pm your body was using up the energy stores from the food you ate the previous night.
If you don't eat during the day, your body starts to eat itself (through lack of a better analogy) it takes a little fat, but mostly takes protein from your muscle, thats why people who want to lose weight and think 'i'll just stop eating' usually never lose weight, or if they do lose it when they do eat again the body gets greedy and says ooh food i'll keep that, as fat.

A. Light Breakfast: Toothpaste, cigarette smoke, coffee or tea. Maybe some fruit juice.

B. Heavy Breakfast: The above plus rice, kimchee and soup or some banchan.

A or B is followed by more toothpaste and then mouthwash.

I don't eat fruit with breakfast but as an afternoon snack or a small dessert after dinner. With a little plain yogurt or vanilla ice cream.

How is that? What do you think? Oh yeah, and if someone stays overnight and I'm making breakfast for two, then I will probably do omlettes and toast.

('suppressants' I think it is)

Ah, but I don't usually skip breakfast. I sneak out with only the Light Breakfast maybe twice a week. And these days, along with the toothpaste and cig smoke, I'm also getting a large helping of varnish fumes from a refinished staircase. Don't know how nutritious that is, but the wooden floor I've coated five (!) times with tung oil (which I used to think was spelt "tongue oil") has a nutty, downright edible scent. Mmm... I want to lick that floor.... Smile
