Based on form over the past, shall we say 3 seasons, what player would you like in your team and why? Choose anyone, anyone at all.

My team is Liverpool and for me it would be Juan Roman Riquelme. I think he is a football genius (a much overused word in my opinion) possibly the best passer I have lived to see (a bold statement I know), an amazing free kick / deadball taker, very consistent and has an excellent football brain. He could split any defence open with the range of his passing. He also dispells the myth that one needs to be lightening fast in order to be effective. Lastly, he has many of the qualities my team lack and have been lacking for a long time.

So go on then who would yours be and why?

Cesc Fabregas, wait hold on we've got him! Yeehoo! Dennis Berkamp, damn it, we had him too. Ok Anyone we've not already had Juninho Pernambucano would be on the list. Watched him play for the Boca Juniors? in that ill-fated cup that Man United played in South America, instead of the FA cup and his passing was unreal.

Stevie have you checked out this:

No cameras, that kid is history!

yes mate saw it on soccer am when i was back in blighty. made me laugh then and still makes me laugh now.

No votes for any Liverpool legends like Pellegrino, Nunez, Cheyrou, Diao or Song then DV? Laughing

Agreed though Juninho is quality. And also a great free kick taker like my nomination.

You could at least spell Dennis the Menace's last name right though? Wink

There is still time for this. But problem is who's he going to replace? You don't need him.
