I bought the cheapo one for my milkshake lesson tomorrow. The bloody thing comes in two parts meaning the jug is not water tight! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR thats the WHOLE point of a blender! I'm having to use the spice crusher attachment to blend ice cream and milk. How stupid and annoying.

So be warned dont buy the cheapo blender from Car-re-POO

yes, but there is no reason to pay 30,000 , or up to 50,000 for a blender when really good ones back in america can be bought for 20,000. mine hasn't had any problems yet though

Yeah, but I only bought it today! And I know u get what u pay for but 17k is quite a lot for a school project!

I managed to fix it, the grinder attachment is leak proof so i've swopped em around. Not perfect but better than nought!

It's kind of you to buy a blender for a school project, but not realistic to expect much for 17,000. But we have all made mistakes when looking for a bargain.

What do you mean by "2 parts"?
Is this the first blender you've bought?
All the blenders I've ever seen come in at least 2 parts, as the bottom (with the blades) is removable from the 'jug' for easier cleaning...

Could you be missing the o-ring (or seal, part 5 in the picture below) and this is causing it to leak?

Or do you mean the jug itself was improperly made?
Like it's splitting or cracked at the seams or something?

Lol I forgot about this thread. Very Happy

Yeah Bul ur diagram saved the day it turns out I only got given one O ring. So I swopped it over, and robert's your fathers brother, it worked.

Milkshakes weren't too nice tho, my students got obssessed with bananas and basically spent the whole lesson drinking banana puree. The way they sampled it you'd have thought it was some fine wine or something. Hilarious Very Happy

Thanks for solving the mystery.

Next up is sandwich making. Suggest a filling!

I've found in general that with blenders you get what you pay for. Carrefour isn't probably the demon here. A cheap blender is just a cheap blender. A blender needs some weight to it. Else, it just dances around the counter.
