Got this idea from another thread.

I like mouse gestures and tab x. How about you folks?

'view this page in IE' is useful for the korean sites that refuse to play with firefox.

I've had a five-button mouse for ages...easier than even mouse gestures to thumb-click or useless-middle-thing-finger forward. For closing, a click of the mouse wheel brings up a small menu...easy-peazy.

Why is "tabbed browsing" so much better than individual pages? Confused I mean, if you have 5 tabs open or 5 windows open....what's the difference?

Uses less system resources.

Sorry but this is just nuts demo... switiching between tabs and switching between windows does not compare. Not to mention how easy it is to open tabs (middle click) compared with opening windows (right click select or CTRL N). Suggesting that the solution is buying a more expensive/functional mouse is hardly intuitive is it?

And yes, check your task manager and you'll see that it keeps only one task running when you tab browse.

For me: Forcastfox, Googlebar, ReloadEvery and Sage for RSS.

The mouse was already bought, so it's no kind of suggestion. (Did I say buy one, or that I've had one for a long time?) As for opening/closing a window, it's a middle-click for me as well....many might not know this as they don't have/have never had that function. System resources? I guess if one is scrimping, then that's a necessary thing to save.

Anyways, I was asking a question, because it seems that my setup works well for me as it is.

Thanks for sorting me out. Rolling Eyes

Yeah the weather forecast thingy that goes in your menu bar is great. The google toolbar clone is highly useful. And I use a flashblock extension. It replaces flash items with a button. If you want to see the flash item, you just click the button. It's remarkable how many banner ads are flash instead of a GIF. And then some sites were using flash to spawn pop up windows.

ah yeah they are so integrated, I forgot about the flash block and the ad blocker too... oh and popup blocker... oh and the rigth click, block pics from this site which is reaeaaaallly handy here on Dave's for avatars I'd just rather not see Laughing

The flash blocker extension is buggy though... I installed mine by manually changing some file... forget which and there is a whole other world of "extending" firefox by editing this file... anyone know what I mean Rolling Eyes

Anyone notice Google has finally come out with a googlebar for Firefox? I used to use the open source clone, although the real thing lets you tap into page ranks.
