Where does everyone play football(ok soccer)Im currently playing with a team in Seongnam they are all a bit older, very much korean speakers, a really good bunch but not playing in competitive matches.

Personally im not that good but born and breed in Scotland when i play i play to win. Thus id be really keen to find some competitive matches. I normally play right back but in korea im getting away with right winger.

Anyone looking for a late summer signing? Believe me it wont add much to your team but ill give 100%

If you're in Seongnam mate, Suwon might be the place for you. Try googling Suwon Globetrotters, hope they still exist & hope you're not a Rangers man Very Happy

I was in Suwon last year, the globetrotters were playing last year.
Their last Capt is a good friend of mine, the other guys I knew were a great bunch of guys (Korean, foriegners and Canadians)

They practised in Yongtong Dong, not too far from Kyong Hee Uni.
About a 40-50 minute bus ride from Gangnam. They played most of their games in Seoul.

Bill,
If that sounds like what you're looking for, let me know and I'll send you some contacts

how about a place for beginners to play. I just started playing in Korea. I pick up sports pretty fast, but I am still learning the basics, anywhere I can play?
