So I bought a webcam and managed to get it set up and working. Even talked with an old friend I haven't seen in about 6 years. Managed to record a short clip to e-mail to the folks back home. Cannot e-mail the clip. Gmail, yahoo, and hotmail all get hung up on it and don't send it.

Why?

How do I fix it?

What size is the clip? It might be in a format like .avi, which can make a really huge filesize.

Is there a choice in saving it to another file format when you make it, or open it back up? Try experimenting with that.

Also, you could try loading it into Windows Movie Maker and saving it in a small file size. That will save it in .wmv format, which will play on another person's computer, as long as they have updated their Windows Media Player in the last year or so.
