Hey! I'm arriving in Seoul for the first time in about two weeks. I will be living in this area (see subject line) and was wondering if anyone here could offer me any insight as to what the area is like, what there is to do in the area, etc..?

I believe that my local subway stop is Korea University, which is on Line 6.

Any info would be appreciated.. Are there parks? Rivers? Nature? Hiking areas? Lots of stores? High/Low foreigner population? Good food in the area? Nightlife? Arts? Saunas? Young/Old people? Herds of high-rise apartment buildings? Availability of lubricant? Live music?
