I was getting some cultural info at the tourism office at Itaewon station, and looked over the shoulder of a guy using the little computer in the corner.
He was on a Yahoo chat group, and I couldn't quite believe what he was writing:
Do my wife free
Free *preemptive beep* her at Gecko's on Saturday at 7.
Look for the couple in *colour unspecified for ethical reasons*.
The man was small in stature, sort of European looking, not that attractive. I have no idea whether he was serious, whether his wife knows anything about this, or whether he is setting someone else up for a nasty surprise. I'm tempted to go to Gecko's next week to find out. |
