Anyone get their E-2 visa from the east coast in the USA? If so, what experience did you have if you are working for a public school?

I picked up an E-2 at the Korean Consulate in Atlanta, but it was for a hagwon job. I got there early in the morning and picked up my passport that afternoon. I was surprised that it was processed on the same day.

I've been the one in Boston...Newton, if I'm not mistaken. Very quick, efficient and helpful(?), as long as you know what you're doing. Got my diploma/transcripts notarized in one day, next day visa issuance. Only hassle was the location...Not near the "T", had to drive out there.

Got my E-2 in Washington DC. I'm working for a public school. It was really easy. Had all my paperwork ready, she looked it over, gave me date to come back. I opted for having them FedEx it to me, rather than trekking back into the city, and had it back days before their estimate.

No wait, very helpful and friendly.

Got visas in DC, next day, same day may be possible if you do mornings...and I don't!

Got things certified at NY, they were pretty good, but it was during the World Cup.
