"Fake nails done by Koreans,
Come again,
Come again, come again, come again, come again"
('Doo Wop - That Thing'; Lauryn Hill)

So, what a sham. It's almost like the icing on the cake.

One year ago when Hwang went global with his research results, the Korean teachers at my school had a field day. The staff lunch room was full of nationalistic chatter, how smart Hwang is, a true genius, handsome to boot - this along with the innuendo that only Korea could produce such a man. At that time, this kinda talk was the norm at my school.

So at the staff lunch on Friday, after the findings had come out that he had lied about the majority of his results I brought it up at the staff lunch. Every Korean head collectively dipped into the their stinking bowls of kimchi.

It really was a sight for sore eyes, but it wasn't only the kimchi that stank. "It's a national embarrassment", as I quote my boss.

With this manic rush to get Korea to a level of $20,000USD income or thereabouts, the nation is producing a generation of serial liars. What a sham. Values are being lost.

Unfortunately, the people who are most to lose in this, aren't the general Korean population with their misplaced sense of elitism (however that fall from grace was a long time coming), instead its the people with life affecting disabilities.

Because, Hwang, his team and band of nationalistic netizens, .... that they are, gave these people false hope. I mean Hwang, what a guy?

Thats what stinks most, not the kimchi...

Hey, Lauryn Hill, right on the money, come again, wonder what's next?
