I have never been to Ulsan, but I would like to visit someday. Seems to have a good expat life. Take a look at The ulsan web they have lots of information. Here is the link to the nightlife section. Cheers.

I live in ulsan

the royal anchor is cool as h*ll and the assh*ole is another fine bar
royal doesnt usually pick up till 11 or so and a hole is more of alate night after the other bars slow down, so going before 2 you maybe bored. A hole does have great dance music however and it can get really going depending on the time of the month and how has money left to burn.
if you go by cab to the koreana hotel just follow the street up to the clock at the intersection and go across the street the royal will be on your right about 20 yards or so past the fish tank on teh bank building. its got a small sign so you mght miss the alley going to the stairs where it is on the second floor. if you hit the morning mart youve gone to far turn around and go back a few feet....

Wow! There are a boat load of foreigner bars in Ulsan. There must be many waygooks around there. It looks to be over 1 million people in population so it's a fairly large city. Might be pretty fun with that many expat places and such around there. The only drawback is that it's quite large and spread out geographically so that might be why there are many places to go.

For me, I quite like it down here. The town is vibrant. There are lots of cool people here. The nightlife is alright. I am not often bored.

Nice; I'm weighing a couple offers from all over and Ulsan is one that caught my attention...
