I just got a new laptop and in order to use the program to transfer all of my files and programs and settngs and registrations from the old one to the new one, I must have a version of IE which has passed testing - which I didn't realize until I tried running this program.
Is there anyway to downgrade IE? I know that Microsoft has made it impossible to delete, and I've been searching online, but I haven't found anything yet. I really need to get this IE 7.0 Beta off of my computer. Do any of you guys have any ideas?
thanks... |

| The Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 item won't appear on the Add or Remove Programs list (via Control Panel) until you check the "Show Updates" box at the top. Then just scroll down to "Windows XP - Software Updates" and there it is. You can remove it, reboot, and you get back your good old IE6. |
