| i'm betting its a complete waste of time. though i don't think it would do anyharm to my system. Just wanting to see what people who have more computer knowledge than me thinks. |

| I bought a new laptop at Technomart. I requested English Windows. Last time I bought a laptop at Technomart, I got a legit copy of Xp. This time the bastards installed a pirate copy. The little new activex control for the MGA thingy detected it as a pirate copy. However, you can disable the activex control and download patches and updates no problem. Eventually I'm going to buy a bigger HD for this laptop and install my genuine XP copy. |

| If you have a real serial, you don't have to reinstall XP but simply plug in the legit number at the "Change Serial #" option. |
