Hello all
so i've just bought myself a brand spanking new laptop with my bonus money, and I've just registered with this fine discussion forum...my problem is I don't know diddly about how to use a computer!
I want to add an avatar to match my "amusing" username, and I can't work out how to do it...can anyone help? (Using the simplest instructions possible!)
btw...I'm aware that I'm an idiot, and disparaging comments would just be far too cheap and easy to make....and I know you're all above that

Can you be more specific about your laptop? Brand, specs, the porn you've already downloaded, etc? Without that info, no one here will be able to help you.

Basically, you have to have a web-site that hosts photos and you post the link of your photo from that web-site to here.

Instructions on your Dave's ESL Cafe profile page say: Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to in the field on the same page. So, you have to find a web-site and upload your photo(s) to it and then put the particular link(URL) in your profile, then you're set. I'm sure others will come along and recommend some good sites for you...

I don't have one but Buddy Bradley's, for example is:

Looks like he's using the Photobucket site to host his images. Understand?

As you can see, I just put an annoying one up myself. If you have any trouble, PM me and I can probably help you a little.

Go to:

www.photobucket.com

and create an account. They'll send you an activation link to your E-mail account and you can log in and do whatever from there.
