I have 2 hard drives in my computer.

I was re-formatting one of them and now it has just disappeared.

When you click on 'My Computer' my second drive doesn't appear.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Go into the BIOS and see if it's recognized in there. DEL on boot should get you in there and then see the first "page" and see if it's listed there.

They were 2 separate drives, yes? Not a partition on one drive or anything...?

Did you right click on "My Computer" and go to "Manage"?

Formatting shouldn't have caused it to disappear unless you were making partitions disappear at the same time. If you can see the drive from this menu, then you will be able to remount it so that XP can use it.
