|
|
Mr Bush has let his true color out of the bag. How can this President sit back and only take care of the rich and let all those poor people suffer. How can he spend so much money on illegal wars inwhich most of his soldiers who are fighting for him are poor, and whose families may come from the areas that are affected. This just shows that Bush only cares about the rich and his mighty Oil Empire. I think it is extremely shameful that he sends men and women to their deaths to fight an evil war but won't help people who need it in his own country. Some one need to shake up America and make them see that their leader is evil, its time for new life to be born in America, its time for an America with out the BUSH Family its time for a president that cares for his people and not his own pocket. |

All I'm hearing is a bunch of whiny, panzy back-seat drivers. If the job was easy it would have been done already. |

Or if competent people had been elected and appointed to the highest echelons of our government. |

By that you mean people as equally whiny and panzy as you. Or would just a random cross section of Oprah fans do? |

Concur. And I'd almost expect something like that from Igotthisguitar...but Igotthisguitar's style of writing is at least much more sophisticated than this... |

It took you this long to realise this if that's the case then you're as dumb as the morons who voted for him. Of course Bushee only cares about the rich. The poor are of course a human resource to be exploited. Serves Americans right for voting for, or at least not voting against the arsehole in my opinion. |

Good one. I suppose hindsight is 20/20. But here's a nugget from one of your links:

Ever since Betsy in 1965, New Orleans and Louisiana have known N.O. was vulnerable. They had 40 years to do something about it. More and bigger pumps were not the answer. My heart bleeds for the city, but, unlike San Francisco and L.A, which learned their lesson about earthquakes, the 'Big Easy' partied on. Now, they may have to pay the price.[url]

Before immediately jumping to the conclusion that George W. Bush is personally responsible for any damage that Hurricane Katrina causes to New Orleans, I would like to know something about N.O. city politics, and what happened to the buttloads of money that they've received in the past. The federal government has been pumping money into that city for a long time.

Comparing this to the 9/11 response? I don't remember NYC being overrun by street gangs then. Did I miss that?
As for the Feds not knowing about people in the convention center, gimme a break. The mayor could have informed them of that. Instead he chose to piss and moan about Big, Bad Bushee. No shortage of that going on here, I see. |

I am definitely not anti-Bush. However...
You have to be a complete moron to think that he isn't all about the rich. People were dying in the streets in NO, and what did he do? He took care of the corporations by releasing oil so the price of oil wouldn't skyrocket and corporate profits would still be OK.
But, Mr. or Mrs. OP, get over it. Calling America evil is about as fresh as my "clean-up" sock. |

Actually, watching Bush talk into any micorphone makes me cringe.
His use of cheesy metaphors and his continual pep talks about 'sacrifice' make me wanna hurl. His latest conference that I caught on CNN, had him forecasting that the great city of New Orleans will one day get back to its original status and more, and he will be sitting on a porch in that city to prove it.
Just coming off an extended holiday on his ranch, 'getting down with worms', what a man. And no, I'm not an American/Canadian. |
