From Shinchon, how do you get to the Incheon ferry port? Also, are there ferries that leave directly from Ganghwa-do to get to the various islands?

Take the subway to Incheon Stn., all the way to the end.
Get a cab to "yon-am bu-do." That's the terminal, it's about W4,000.
Ferries from Kanghwa-do? No, I think most ferries leave from Incheon but I could be wrong.
I've been to Dokjeokdo a couple of times and am going to Baengnyondo tomorrow. Great places. Good luck. |

or get the Samhwa Express bus service that goes right from Sinchon to the ferry terminal.
Hang on, you said Shinchon- do you mean the one near Yonsei uni or the other one? |

Swiss James-
Yeah, I mean the one near Yonsei. Where does the Samhwa Express Bus leave from?

If you walk out Shinchon Station, Exit 4 you will see a series of blue posts marking the different pickup points for the Samhwa Express buses. You want post number 6. The posts are in front of Baskin & Robbins, and the vending machine for the tickets is over by the Noksaek movie theater.
Bon voyage! |
