From Shinchon, how do you get to the Incheon ferry port? Also, are there ferries that leave directly from Ganghwa-do to get to the various islands?

Take the subway to Incheon Stn., all the way to the end.

Get a cab to "yon-am bu-do." That's the terminal, it's about W4,000.

Ferries from Kanghwa-do? No, I think most ferries leave from Incheon but I could be wrong.

I've been to Dokjeokdo a couple of times and am going to Baengnyondo tomorrow. Great places. Good luck.

or you can get off at seoul station....i dont remember the exit number, but find the old seoul station, there are a few stores in front, you can buy a ticket there for 2,700 won....takes about 50 minutes. make sure to buy the ticket for ������...yong hyun dong

or get the Samhwa Express bus service that goes right from Sinchon to the ferry terminal.

Hang on, you said Shinchon- do you mean the one near Yonsei uni or the other one?

If you walk out Shinchon Station, Exit 4 you will see a series of blue posts marking the different pickup points for the Samhwa Express buses. You want post number 6. The posts are in front of Baskin & Robbins, and the vending machine for the tickets is over by the Noksaek movie theater.
