I'm looking for a thread that was about institutions in Seoul, particularly in Gangnam and Seolleung, writing personal essays for students and passing them off as if they were written by the students themselves, to get the children admitted into good universities in the US; there was a link to an online news article about this. I've tried the Search function but it doesn't seem to be working for General Discussion.

Dave's search engine is LESS than helpful. If you have the google toolbar, you can "search within the site" and find what you're looking for. (In case you don't know how to use that feature, go to Dave's first, type in what you want in the google search space, then click the little arrow next to "search web" and choose "current site".)

Thanks for the tip, I found the thread, the search button sometimes works for me, sometimes doesn't, it was on the Jobs forum, and was titled something like "we're all illegal!"
