For professional security reasons, I won't quote the exact wording but I am considering a contract right now that stipulates the following (paraphrased):
Confidentiality clause- whereby I cannot discuss or disclose any part of my contract with ANYone. At all.
Security deposit- Whereby I have a sum deducted from my first two months to pay for utilities that I may leave behind. will be returned upon end of contract (what if exchange changes in that time, what about interest on that sum)
Any notes from you folks who know about korean labour laws, what about these two things. For example, if I wanted legal advice, can I not show my lawyer or advisor my contract?
Or does anyone know of a site for someone to look over my contract and let me know if its a good one?
Other than this, the job looks fabulous. great location, good reviews, not blacklisted, and it has all of the things i am looking for. |

If you have not signed the contract, then the contract does not apply to you yet. Once it is signed, then the confidentiality clause (and others) will come into effect.
At the moment it is just a piece of paper with some words on it.
As far as I know. |
